University of Louisville Golf Club

In 2014 Holt Golf Design headed a major renovation of the golf course and clubhouse grounds for The University of Louisville Golf Club.  The primary club area improvement was the addition of a large dining patio on the South side of the club adjacent to the inner dining room.  The patio designed by Holt Golf Design will greatly expand the dining capacity and improve the club’s ability to attract outside events such as wedding receptions.  In addition to the patio a grand staircase on the the west side of the club was added to provide a direct link from the clubhouse to the number one tee.  Finally, Holt Golf also provided design supervision for the addition of a decorative waterfall feature at the entrance to the club and a black “X pattern”  style horse fence placed carefully throughout the property to define the property and add an aesthetic element.
